Since 2015, the executive chef and his team are dedicated to promote GRTA certified local producers (Genève Région – Terre Avenir) and to integrate fresh seasonal and local products in all the menus served in the restaurants of the Starling Hotel Geneva.
With an average of 90’000 international customers every year, our breakfast buffet plays an essential role in our commitment in proposing a huge variety of 90 different dishes, carefully prepared by our chefs. Milk, eggs, honey, bread, honey wheat flakes, yogurt, geneva local cheese, seasoning (oil and mustard) are some of the examples of the regional products certified by GRTA. They are produced in local farms respecting ethical and environmental values.
To follow seasonality, the executive chef adapts these local food products of the buffet throughout the year. The executive chef is committed to offer products coming from our passionate producers and farmers.
The large offer of Starling’s buffet breakfast is currently presented with 70% of local Swiss products and proves to be an excellent showcase of the Swiss expertise in gastronomy.
